CANM8 C8NECT-EDOFF-MB2 CANNECT Start-Stop Disable Interface

The CANM8 CANNECT START-STOP DISABLE is a CAN Bus interface designed to automatically disable the Start-Stop function on vehicles where this feature is not desired. Each time the vehicle engine is started, this interface automatically disengages the Start-Stop control so that manually overriding of the function is not necessary. The Start-Stop function can be re-instated by the driver at any time during the journey as desired but will automatically cancel again the next time the vehicle is started.

Applications

The CANM8 CANNECT START-STOP DISABLE interface is extremely popular with refrigeration and temperature controlled vehicles. Many refrigeration transportation companies suffer from the engine cutting out when the vehicle enters Start-Stop mode, which in turn shuts off the power to the temperature controlled storage at the rear of the vehicle. This poses huge problems as these systems require constant power during transportation to keep them at the desired temperature. By installing our START-STOP DISABLE interface, this completely eradicates this issue and has proven to be a huge success amongst existing customers. Most Start-Stop systems incorporate a manual override control, but the specification for special vehicles may often require the override to be an automatic feature. Most vehicle suppliers are not able to offer this facility as an option.

Installation Details

The interface features a mini wiring connector, which unplugs to allow easy installation. There are 2 connections to the vehicle CAN Bus wiring (CAN HI & CAN LO) along with a connection to a permanent, fused 12v power supply and an earth connection.

The CANM8 START-STOP DISABLE (POWER) interface will automatically disable the vehicle Start-Stop system. For some vehicles, you only need to connect the CAN Bus wires and the unit is able to de-activate the Start-Stop system via CAN. Other vehicles require the physical connection of an input and an output wire to turn the Start-Stop system off but these are clearly labeled on the installation instructions that will be sent with your product.

The interface incorporates a multi-function status LED, which indicates the status of the vehicle Start-Stop system.

If you require insurance on your product, you should contact us as this is not usually included in the price of your product, and if it is damaged in transit, this is usually not covered.

If your unit is in the rare case damaged in transit, you need to report it to us within 24 hours of you receiving the unit(s). If your unit is insured, that is the window that we have to lodge a claim on your behalf.

For all our loyal NT, WA and remote area clients, please be aware that your parcels can take up to 10 working days to arrive at your location. If you are having issues with your scannings, please contact the relevant freight company.

Please note that if you have a PO BOX / LOCKED BOX / PARCEL LOCKER ADDRESS, you will need to choose the Australia post shipping option at check out, as Fastway Courier companies deliveries are not accepted by Australia post facilities.

30 day return policy.
You have up to 30 days to return an item to us
To be eligible for under the 30 day return the following criteria must be met.
–    Units must still be brand new in the box, still factory sealed
–    Units must be returned to us fit for resale (the original packaging etc must me intact)
–    You must have a RMA number issued by us for the product that you are returning if you’re the RMA number must be clearly marked on the front of the package if the RMA number is not visible the unit will not be accepted at the warehouse
–    Please make sure to insure your package on the way back to us as damage in transit, and products lost in transit will not be covered.
–    20% restocking fee + if free shipping was selected at check out the original included shipping fee (between 4.5 – $45 depending on product size and delivery location, if you chose express this can not be refunded) will be recovered from the refund

We have set up direct service agreements with the vast majority of our suppliers so this means the units are shipped direct from the clients back to the service departments for the manufactures this cuts down on service time and cost for everyone involved! All of the relevant paperwork etc is on hand so if you ever have an issue just know that you are covered but an Australian wide warranty!

Please note that return freight costs are not covered.
