The Aerpro CHMB7C Steering Wheel Control Interface (SWC) allows you to upgrade to an aftermarket headunit whilst maintaining the use of your factory steering wheel controls. Engineered to suit various Mitsubishi vehicles with OEM Rockford Fosgate Amplified Systems. The steering wheel control interface includes a harness that is fitted with a vehicle-specific plug designed to connect directly to the existing wiring in the vehicle with ease, no cutting of the factory wiring harness in the vehicle is required.Installation of the aftermarket headunit is simplified even further when paired with the optional Aerpro APP9 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness & SWC Patch Lead, which connects the aftermarket headunit and the Aerpro Steering Wheel Control Interface. This interface is CANBUS compatible and provides various outputs including Reverse Trigger, Park Brake, and Speed Pulse.

Make Use of Your Factory Steering Wheel ControlsThe Aerpro APUIR Universal IR Adaptor enables control of an aftermarket IR-Equipped Head unit from OEM steering wheel controls. With up to 10 commands available to be programmed from a remote control handset, data is stored in flash memory to ensure no data loss when power is turned off.The adaptor is compatible with most IR remote control systems operating between 36-40 kHz, excluding Sony HiR models.Unit enables control of an aftermarket Head unit (with IR control) from the steering wheel controls of an analog vehicle, allowing up to 10 buttons to be programmed.
