Steering Wheel Control Harness (SWC) adaptors allow use of a vehicles factory steering wheel audio controls with an aftermarket source unit by converting the commands to a code that an aftermarket head unit can recognise.
Once you have your SWC harness selected to suit your specific vehicle, you then need to to select a patch lead based on the head unit brand and its connector. This steering wheel control harness suits Mazda CX-7 and Mazda 6. Harness does not suit vehicles equipped with BOSE systems.

Engineered to suit various Subaru vehicles with OEM Navigation, the steering wheel control interface includes a harness that is fitted with a vehicle specific plug designed to connect directly into the existing wiring in the vehicle with ease, no cutting of the factory wiring harness in the vehicle is required. Aerpro SWC Harnesses Connect OEM Steering Wheel Controls to Aftermarket Headunits
Steering Wheel Control Harness (SWC) adaptors allow use of a vehicles factory steering wheel audio controls with an aftermarket source unit by converting the commands to a code that an aftermarket head unit can recognise.Once you have your SWC harness selected to suit your specific vehicle, you then need to to select a patch lead based on the head unit brand and its connector.
