The Aerpro AEM1R is a complete factory rearview mirror replacement system designed specifically for utes, 4WDs, and vans where a canopy, camper, or tray obstructs the factory mirror view. Unlike clip-over solutions, the AEM1R replaces the factory mirror entirely using a purpose-built mounting bracket for a clean, integrated in-cabin appearance. The 9.66" IPS touch screen at 1920x480 resolution with 1000 nit brightness and automatic brightness adjustment remains clearly visible in direct sunlight and low-light conditions, providing constant rear visibility through the live AHD 1080P camera feed.
The included rear camera uses a Sony STARVIS 2 image sensor for sharp, detailed footage in both daytime and low-light conditions, rated IP69 for full protection against high-pressure wash-down. When reverse gear is selected, the display automatically switches to the rear camera view with on-screen parking guidelines. A flip switch allows instant reversion to a conventional mirror view at any time. An integrated clock and date display remains on screen at all times.
The built-in DVR records continuously in 1080P HD at 30FPS with automatic impact-triggered event saving to protect critical footage during incidents. MicroSD cards up to 256GB are supported (Class 10 required, sold separately). Installation is simplified with the included 8-metre camera cable and universal mirror mount.
