Aerpro AP3081C 6 x 9 Inch MDF Speaker Spacer with Grey Carpet Finish
The Aerpro AP3081C is a pair of MDF speaker spacers built for 6 x 9 inch speakers, wrapped in a grey carpet finish and 25mm deep. They give your new speakers the extra depth and solid mounting surface factory door cavities often don't provide. Made from medium density fibreboard, they're sturdy enough to hold your speaker steady without flexing.
Product overview
Speaker spacers might seem like a small accessory, but they solve a real problem: many factory speaker locations are too shallow for aftermarket 6 x 9 inch speakers to sit flush or clear internal door components. The Aerpro AP3081C is built from MDF (medium density fibreboard), a dense, stable board material that holds screws well and doesn't warp like thinner plastics can. At 25mm deep, it lifts your speaker away from the door panel or parcel shelf, giving the cone and magnet the clearance they need to work properly. The grey carpet covering means it doesn't look like a raw workshop part once it's installed, it blends into the vehicle's interior trim.
Features and benefits
MDF construction, built to last: Medium density fibreboard is dense and rigid, so the spacer holds its shape and keeps your speaker mounted securely over time.
25mm depth, solves clearance problems: Adds 25mm of space between the speaker and the mounting surface, giving the speaker basket and magnet room to clear wiring or door components.
Grey carpet finish, a tidy look: Covers the MDF in grey carpet so the spacer blends into your vehicle's interior trim instead of showing raw board.
Sized for 6 x 9 inch speakers: Built specifically to suit 6 x 9 inch (152mm x 228mm) speakers, so it lines up with the mounting holes and shape you need.
