Description
Aerpro AP3YWB 3m Audio and Video RCA Lead 75 Ohm Coax Yellow White Black
The AP3YWB is a 3-metre audio and video RCA lead from Aerpro, with three male RCA plugs to three male RCA plugs constructed from 75 ohm coaxial cable. Yellow, white, and black colour-coded connectors simplify connection between AV components. Suitable for analogue audio and video signal applications.
Product overview
The Aerpro AP3YWB is a three-channel RCA lead built on 75 ohm coaxial cable, providing a low-impedance signal path suited to analogue audio and video signal transmission between AV components. The 75 ohm coaxial construction matches the impedance of standard composite video and audio signal sources, maintaining signal integrity across the 3-metre cable length. Yellow, white, and black colour coding on the RCA connectors simplifies identification and connection of video, left audio, and right audio channels during installation.
Features and benefits
75 ohm coaxial cable construction: Built on 75 ohm coaxial cable, matching the impedance of standard composite video and analogue audio signal sources for accurate signal transfer with minimal loss across the 3-metre run.
Three male RCA plugs to three male RCA plugs: Three male to male RCA connections cover a standard composite AV signal set, suitable for connecting source units, displays, and AV accessories with RCA inputs and outputs.
Colour-coded yellow, white, and black connectors: Yellow, white, and black colour coding simplifies identification of the video, left audio, and right audio channels during installation, reducing the risk of incorrect connections between components.
3-metre length: The 3-metre cable length provides sufficient reach for most in-vehicle and home AV component interconnect runs between source units, displays, and accessories.

Frequently asked questions
What is the AP3YWB used for?
The AP3YWB is an analogue audio and video RCA lead used to connect AV source units, displays, and accessories with standard RCA inputs and outputs. The three-channel configuration covers a standard composite video and stereo audio signal set.
Why is 75 ohm coaxial cable used for this lead?
75 ohm is the standard impedance for composite video and analogue audio signal transmission. Using 75 ohm coaxial cable matches the impedance of the source and destination components, minimising signal reflection and loss across the cable run for the best possible analogue signal transfer.
What do the yellow, white, and black colour codes represent?
In standard composite AV wiring, yellow typically indicates the video channel, white indicates the left audio channel, and black or red indicates the right audio channel. The AP3YWB uses yellow, white, and black coding to simplify connection identification during installation.
Is the AP3YWB suitable for use with car audio and video systems?
Yes. The AP3YWB is suited to in-vehicle AV installations including rear seat entertainment systems, head unit to display connections, and other applications requiring a three-channel male to male RCA lead at 3-metre length.
Can the AP3YWB be used for digital audio signals?
The AP3YWB is designed for analogue audio and video signal transmission. For digital coaxial audio signals, a dedicated 75 ohm digital coaxial cable is recommended. Contact us for guidance on compatible digital audio cables for your application.
