The Aerpro APFOCBE2 is a complete UHF CB radio kit designed specifically for the Ford Ranger RA (2022-on). Includes the Aerpro AP477E 5W ultra-compact UHF CB radio, the Aerpro CBSTHD1 3dBi heavy duty fibreglass radome antenna, and the Aerpro APVCBB10 vehicle-specific bonnet mount bracket. The APFOCBE2 is the compact (non-hideaway) counterpart to the APFOCBH2 hideaway kit for the Ford Ranger RA. Where the APFOCBH2 uses the AP477H hideaway radio with a remote speaker microphone, the APFOCBE2 uses the AP477E standard radio where all controls are on the radio body itself. The AP477E mounts in a visible, accessible position within the cabin rather than hidden under the dash or seat.
The AP477E provides 5W output across all 80 UHF CB channels with CTCSS/DCS codes, duplex mode, channel scan, auto squelch, busy channel lockout, a white backlit display, stereo mute output, and external speaker port. The fixed-cord microphone is attached directly to the radio body. Compatible with 12V and 24V systems.
The CBSTHD1 is a 700mm ground-independent elevated feed fibreglass radome antenna with stainless steel spring base, 4.5m RG58 cable, and FME to PL259 adaptor for solder-free installation. The APVCBB10 mounts on the passenger side bonnet hinge of the RA Ranger using existing mounting points with no drilling required, and does not obstruct bonnet operation or window wipers.
