A compatible SWC patch lead and APP8 secondary ISO harness are required separately.

The Aerpro ASMC3C is a CAN bus SWC interface engineered for compatible Mercedes vehicles, designed to retain factory steering wheel control function during aftermarket head unit installation. The vehicle-specific plug connects directly into the existing wiring in the vehicle with no cutting or modification to the factory harness required. The ASMC3C retains the factory antenna via the included antenna adaptor, and provides reverse trigger (purple wire) and park brake (green wire) outputs for connection to the aftermarket head unit. Installation is simplified when paired with the Aerpro APP8 Secondary ISO Harness (sold separately). A compatible type H SWC patch lead is required separately for SWC function. The ASMC3C also provides an illumination output.
Note: the ASMC3C does not retain factory amplifier, reverse camera, AUX input, or USB input.
