Product Overview
The Aerpro ASSU13C is a CAN bus steering wheel control (SWC) interface engineered for a range of Subaru vehicles. It allows you to install an aftermarket head unit while retaining your factory steering wheel controls, reverse camera (including side cameras where fitted), factory antenna, and AUX input all without cutting the factory wiring harness.
The ASSU13C connects via a vehicle-specific plug that drops straight into the existing wiring, and the kit includes an antenna adaptor, reverse and side camera retention adaptors, and AUX retention leads. It provides reverse trigger (purple) and park brake (green) output feeds for compatible head units, along with an illumination output. Note that this interface does not retain a factory amplifier it suits non-amplified Subaru variants. For Subaru models with a factory Harman Kardon system, refer to the ASSU9C. For a complete installation, Aerpro recommends pairing the ASSU13C with the APP8 Head Unit Secondary ISO Harness, sold separately.
