The elliptical radiation pattern is more rounded compared to a high-gain antenna and radiates further compared to a low-gain antenna, making it ideal for medium-range communication in various environments such as suburban landscapes, towns, and low-density woodlands.The 670mm antenna whip features a flexible black-coated stainless steel single coil mast which is fitted with a 5/16" thread for easy removal. This antenna whip is ground-dependent, so it is recommended to be mounted on an elevated feed base or ground plane for maximum performance. The CBA4S1 is a good all-purpose town and country antenna whip.
