The SWVL4C is engineered specifically for Volvo XC90 vehicles equipped with the MOST 25 fibre optic system, covering the 2002 to 2013 model year range. The interface retains the OEM steering wheel controls, parking sensor chimes, and reverse camera feed when an aftermarket head unit is installed. It provides output feeds for reverse trigger, park brake, and speed pulse, and supports the OEM phone button when paired with a compatible aftermarket Bluetooth head unit.
Two MOST loops are included to retain the factory camera and bypass the amplifier where fitted. Vehicles equipped with a CD changer may require an additional MOST loop (model MOSTLOOP, sold separately). To retain the factory middle display, the interface should be connected to the steering wheel control module and concealed behind the dash.
Aerpro recommends installation alongside an APP8 Headunit Secondary ISO Harness, sold separately. Note that the battery must be disconnected prior to removing the factory head unit. Failure to do so may trigger an engine warning light that requires clearing by a Volvo repair agent using a scan tool.
