Description
DNA RCC170-AHD AHD Reverse Cabin and Canopy Camera 170 Degree View IP68 Zinc Alloy Housing 7 IR LEDs Tiltable Lens with Selectable PAL/NTSC Parking Lines and Mirror Image
The DNA RCC170-AHD is a compact AHD reverse camera for ute cabin and canopy applications. 170-degree wide-angle view, 7 IR LEDs for night vision, and a tiltable lens for precise angle adjustment. Zinc alloy housing rated IP68. PAL/NTSC video format, parking guide lines, and mirror image are all selectable via wire cut. Includes number plate mounting bracket.
Product overview
The RCC170-AHD is designed for ute cabin and canopy installations, providing a compact rear or front-mount camera solution where a standard licence plate camera is not practical. The 170-degree view angle and tiltable lens allow the camera to be aimed with precision after mounting. Seven IR LEDs deliver low-light and night vision capability down to 0.01 Lux minimum illumination.
Selectable features are controlled by wire cutting rather than a physical switch. By default the camera is configured for rear installation with parking guide lines displayed. Cutting the green wire changes the image orientation for front camera installation. Cutting the white wire disables parking guide lines. PAL is the default video format; cutting the designated wire selects NTSC.
The zinc alloy body measures 198.5mm long by 28mm high by 26mm wide, suited to tight mounting spaces in ute canopies and cabin walls. Operating voltage is 6V to 15V DC, compatible with 12V vehicle electrical systems.

Frequently asked questions
What vehicles is the RCC170-AHD suited to? The RCC170-AHD is a universal camera suited to any vehicle requiring a cabin or canopy-mounted rear or front camera. It is particularly suited to utes with canopy or tub-mounted camera requirements where a standard number plate camera position is not practical.
How do I change the camera from rear to front mode? By default the camera is configured for rear installation with a mirrored image. Cutting the green wire changes the image orientation for front camera installation.
Can I turn off the parking guide lines? Yes. Parking guide lines are enabled by default. Cutting the white wire disables them.
What is the difference between PAL and NTSC, and how do I switch? PAL and NTSC are video format standards. PAL is the standard used in Australia. PAL is selected by default. Cutting the designated wire selects NTSC. If your head unit is Australian-specification, PAL is the correct setting and no modification is needed.
What does IP68 mean for this camera? IP68 is the highest common waterproof ingress protection rating, indicating the camera is fully dustproof and protected against continuous water immersion. This suits rear-of-vehicle and canopy mounting positions exposed to rain, wash-down, and road spray.
