BNC Mini Passive Video Balun
Enables the transmission of CCTV/HDTV video using ordinary unshielded twisted pair (UTP) wire instead of coaxial cable. Cost effective and much easier for installation.
UTP cable is less expensive then coax cable, One cable runs all, one pair for video, two pair for power, and you got 1 pair for spare or 3 pairs for Y/Pb/Pr, one pair for SPDIF/IEC958 digital audio in HDTV applications.
UTP cables have become increasingly popular in CCTV security installations because they are smaller in size than coaxial cables, making cable density less of a problem. They are also easier to terminate, which speeds installation.
