At 1.7mm thick it adds minimal bulk while delivering significant damping performance across doors, floors, roofs, rear decks, trunk lids, and trunk floors. The aluminium layer handles high-temperature areas including firewall and under-hood applications. No heat gun is required the self-adhesive butyl rubber bonds to bare metal without surface preparation, and the material cuts cleanly with scissors or a razor knife.
