The Dynamat 11905 Hoodliner is one 813mm x 1372mm (32" x 54") sheet of 3/4" (19.05mm) acoustic sound-absorbing foam with a reinforced, reflective aluminised skin. 97% heat reflection, high-tack pressure sensitive adhesive, oil and water resistant. Total coverage 1.11sqm (12 sq ft). Suited to vehicle hoods, engine compartments, generator housings, and boat engine bays.

The Hoodliner is a thermo-acoustic insulation product combining an acoustic foam layer with a reflective aluminised skin, designed for under-hood, engine bay, and generator applications where both heat and noise need to be managed. The aluminised skin reflects 97% of radiant heat and is cleanable, oil resistant, and water resistant, making it practical for engine compartment environments. The acoustic foam layer uses a combination of open and closed cells engineered to absorb sound waves and convert them to heat energy. Open cells accept incoming sound waves; closed cells prevent them from passing straight through. The cast sheet construction maintains consistent foam resistivity throughout the material for predictable, uniform acoustic absorption. For maximum acoustic control, Dynamat recommends installing Hoodliner on top of Dynamat Xtreme. High-tack pressure sensitive adhesive backing for peel-and-stick installation.
