DynaPlate is a structural reinforcing damping material for applications where standard butyl rubber CLD is not enough. The two-layer construction creates a non-flexible panel composite when applied to sheet metal, preventing the ballooning or flexing that occurs in doors, floors, roof panels, and subwoofer enclosure faces under acoustic pressure. By eliminating panel flex, DynaPlate reduces vibration and removes one of the main sources of low-frequency distortion in car audio systems.
