Wireless Apple CarPlay and wireless Android Auto eliminate the need to connect a cable on every drive. Once paired with a compatible smartphone, iPhone users access maps, calls, messages, music, podcasts, and Siri through the touchscreen, while Android users access Google Maps, voice control, music, and messaging apps. Bluetooth 5.0 with HFP, A2DP, AVRCP, and PBAP profiles provides hands-free calling, music streaming, ID3 tag display, and phonebook access for use independently of CarPlay and Android Auto.
DAB/DAB+ digital radio provides access to a wider range of stations with digital broadcast quality in supported areas alongside the AM/FM tuner with 30 presets. The 4V 6-channel RCA preouts (front, rear, subwoofer) with dedicated subwoofer control provide a strong signal foundation for building a complete external amplifier system.
