The Mongoose SRS-01 is a pack of four rubber sleeves designed specifically for installing Mongoose wireless parking sensors into metal bumpers. Standard wireless parking sensor kits are designed for direct installation into plastic bumpers, but metal bumpers require rubber sleeves to protect the sensor body from metal contact, prevent signal interference, and maintain accurate ultrasonic detection performance. Without the correct rubber sleeve, installing sensors directly into a metal bumper can damage the sensors and compromise detection accuracy.
Each SRS-01 kit includes four rubber sleeves set at a 0 degree angle, maintaining standard straight-ahead detection orientation for front and rear sensor installations. The sleeves are black in colour to blend with typical bull bar and metal bumper finishes. Compatible with the full Mongoose wireless parking sensor range including the MPRSWB-D, MPRSWB-S, MPFSWB-D, and MPFSWB-S. A 28mm hole saw (SDS-02) is available separately for cutting the correct mounting holes in metal bumpers. The drill is not included.
