The PAC Audio APHCH42 is a plug-and-play expansion harness for UConnect5-equipped Chrysler, Jeep, and RAM vehicles from 2021 onwards, designed to allow an AmpPRO amplifier processor to be used with the factory sound system. It provides flat audio output, retains factory features including uConnect, Bluetooth audio, navigation prompts, and warning chimes, and delivers front, rear, and subwoofer preamp outputs at 5V RMS. This harness must be used with the PAC Audio AP4-CH41 R.2, sold separately.

The APHCH42 is an expansion harness that works alongside the PAC Audio AP4-CH41 R.2 to provide a complete plug-and-play AmpPRO integration solution for UConnect5-equipped Chrysler, Jeep, and RAM vehicles. Rather than requiring summing devices or a DSP processor to extract usable audio from the factory amplified system, the APHCH42 provides a flat audio output signal that gives aftermarket amplifiers and processors a clean foundation to work from.
The original factory amplifier is retained, allowing the entire sound system or just part of it to be upgraded depending on the installation requirements. Variable volume, fade, balance, bass, mid, and treble audio settings are preserved through the factory head unit, and customised OE bass, mid, and treble centre frequency selection is supported. An optional TOSLINK optical output is available via the APA-TOS1 accessory, sold separately. Vehicles with an Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) system require the ANC-CH01 bypass harness, also sold separately.
