The Stinger HR9-SB001 is a radio replacement bundle designed for the installation of a 9-inch trapezoid aftermarket head unit into the Subaru Forester SH Series and Impreza (including WRX) from 2007 to 2012. The kit includes a 9-inch flush fit radio panel, steering wheel control retention interface with patch lead and antenna adaptor. This kit is for non-navigation models only, and phone button functions on the steering wheel are not retained even if the vehicle is equipped with them.

The HR9-SB001 covers the Subaru Forester SH and Impreza GE, GH, GR and GV chassis from 2007 to 2012, including the WRX variant. Memory is retained after a power loss. A factory-to-aftermarket antenna adaptor is also included.
Two fitment qualifiers apply to this kit. First, the HR9-SB001 is designed for non-navigation Forester and Impreza models only vehicles equipped with the factory navigation system are not compatible. Second, while the SWC interface retains audio controls, it does not retain the phone button functions on the steering wheel if the vehicle is equipped with them.
