The Stinger HR9-TY002 is a radio replacement bundle designed for the installation of a 9-inch trapezoid aftermarket head unit into select Toyota vehicles originally fitted with a 200mm factory head unit. The kit includes a 9-inch flush fit radio panel, steering wheel control retention interface with patch lead, antenna adaptor, reverse camera retention interface and AUX/USB retention. Note that the head unit will sit forward of the factory dash panel after installation, and fascia bracket modification may be required in some vehicles.

The HR9-TY002 covers a range of Toyota models sharing the 200mm factory head unit format, including the Toyota 86 (post-facelift), C-HR AX10, HiAce H200, LandCruiser 200 Series and Prius C XP130. The plug-and-play SWC interface connects to the factory Toyota connector architecture and retains factory audio steering wheel controls on models equipped with the 28-pin connector. Reverse camera retention is provided via the included interface, but only where the vehicle has reverse camera wiring present in the 24-pin connector this should be verified for the specific vehicle before purchasing.
AUX and USB retention is confirmed included, and a factory-to-aftermarket antenna adaptor is provided. The factory amplifier is not retained by this kit. Due to the depth difference between the 200mm opening and the 9-inch trapezoid head unit, the unit will sit forward of the factory dash panel after installation.
