The Stinger HRMA009 is designed for higher specification Mazda 3 BM (2013-2016) variants fitted with the factory 7-inch colour display infotainment system. It is not compatible with Mazda 3 BM models fitted with a monochrome or single-colour factory display. The kit accommodates an L-shaped double DIN head unit where the 1DIN body sits at the bottom of the dash aperture, which is the correct format for the Mazda 3 BM dash recess.
The kit connects via a plug and play factory OEM connector to bare wire output. The vehicle-side connector plugs directly into the factory wiring loom without cutting, while the head unit side terminates in bare wires for connection to the chosen aftermarket head unit's ISO harness. The head unit ISO harness is not included and must be sourced separately.
The AXSWC interface retains factory steering wheel audio control buttons with Alpine, Clarion, JVC, Kenwood, Pioneer, Sony, and Stinger head units. Compatibility with other head unit brands is not guaranteed. The reverse camera activation interface is included so the factory reverse camera continues to function.
