The Stinger HRNI001 connects an aftermarket head unit to the factory wiring of the Nissan Qashqai J11 and X-Trail T32 via a plug and play factory connector to standard ISO output, without cutting factory wiring. The pre-programmed CAN-BUS SWC interface retains the factory steering wheel audio controls and factory amplifier without manual programming. The factory reverse camera is retained via the included activation interface. Note that the factory 360-degree surround camera system cannot be retained with this kit. Only the standard single reverse camera is supported. The factory USB port is also retained via the included USB retention module.
Two known limitations apply to all compatible models after installation: the factory 360-degree camera system cannot be retained, and the instrument cluster clock display cannot be adjusted after an aftermarket head unit is installed. The clock will still display, but the time cannot be changed via the vehicle's standard controls.
