Stinger JPSUBLIB2S JP Series Double DIN Fascia Kit for Subaru Liberty and Outback BL-BP 2006 to 2008 in Black for Single Climate Control Models with Brackets and Antenna Adaptor Included
The JPSUBLIB2S from Stinger is a JP Series Japanese OEM-grade black double DIN fascia kit designed for the Subaru Liberty and Outback BL-BP from 2006 to 2008, for models fitted with single climate control. Mounting brackets and an antenna adaptor are included. This fascia suits single climate control models only. Dual-zone or automatic climate control variants require the JPSUBLIB2D instead. A wiring harness and steering wheel control interface are not included.
Product overview
The JPSUBLIB2S is manufactured to Japanese OEM quality standards, providing a factory-matched fit and finish when installing an aftermarket double DIN head unit into the Subaru Liberty and Outback BL-BP single climate control variants from 2006 to 2008. The black finish complements the Liberty and Outback BL-BP interior trim for a factory-like appearance after installation.
Single climate control variants of the BL-BP Liberty and Outback use a different dash panel configuration around the head unit opening than dual climate control variants. The JPSUBLIB2S is designed specifically for the single climate control layout and cannot be used in dual-zone or automatic climate control models. Dual climate control variants require the JPSUBLIB2D. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure which climate control type your specific Liberty or Outback BL-BP has.

Frequently asked questions
How do I know if my Subaru Liberty BL-BP has single climate control?
Single climate control features one temperature control affecting the entire cabin. Dual-zone climate control has separate temperature settings for the driver and passenger sides. If your Liberty or Outback BL-BP has two temperature dials or a dual-zone display, it is not compatible with the JPSUBLIB2S and requires the JPSUBLIB2D instead. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure which climate control type your vehicle has.
What is the difference between the JPSUBLIB2S and the JPSUBLIB2D?
Both are JP Series black double DIN fascia kits for the Subaru Liberty and Outback BL-BP (2006 to 2008) with mounting brackets and an antenna adaptor included. The JPSUBLIB2S suits single climate control models. The JPSUBLIB2D suits dual climate control models. The two kits are not interchangeable as the dash panel configuration around the head unit differs between climate control types.
Does the JPSUBLIB2S suit the Subaru Outback as well as the Liberty?
Yes. The JPSUBLIB2S covers the Subaru Liberty including the Outback variant on the BL-BP chassis from 2006 to 2008, provided the vehicle has single climate control.
Is a wiring harness included with the JPSUBLIB2S?
No. The JPSUBLIB2S is a fascia, bracket, and antenna adaptor kit. A vehicle-specific ISO wiring harness must be sourced separately to connect the aftermarket head unit to the factory wiring. Contact us for guidance on the correct wiring harness for the Subaru Liberty and Outback BL-BP.
Is professional installation recommended for the JPSUBLIB2S?
Professional installation is recommended for those unfamiliar with Subaru dash removal or stereo wiring. Incorrect fitment can affect surrounding trim panels and cabin electronics. Contact us for guidance on professional installation options.
