When installing an aftermarket infotainment system, the factory reverse camera signal can be lost the SCMBRT2 bridges that gap by converting the factory FAKRA connection to a male RCA output, allowing the OEM camera to work with a compatible aftermarket head unit.
The kit includes a vehicle harness and is plug-and-play. Compatible vehicles are the Mercedes M Class W164 (2005–2011), Mercedes Sprinter W906 (2014–2016 only see caution below), Mercedes Vito W639 including Viano and Valente (2007–2015), and Mercedes Vito W447 including Viano and Valente (2015–2019). Please note: parking guidelines are not retained on all vehicles, as these are applied by the factory radio rather than the camera itself.
