The Stinger SCVWRT2 is a plug-and-play reverse camera retention adaptor for the Volkswagen Golf MK7 5G (2014 to 2018, including GTI). It passes the factory OEM reverse camera signal to a compatible aftermarket head unit, preserving reverse camera functionality without installing a new camera or running new wiring. Connects to the factory camera harness via existing connectors no splicing or soldering required.
Note: In some installations, video noise or lines may appear in the camera image. Stinger recommends the PACRPA-VA1 video noise filter (sold separately) to reduce or eliminate this where it occurs.
