Stinger SPF5860 60 Amp MIDI Mini ANL Fuses with Shoc-Krome Chrome Plating for Circuit Protection and Maximum Current Transfer Pack of 3
The SPF5860 from Stinger is a pack of three 60 amp MIDI (Mini ANL) fuses in chrome finish with Shoc-Krome plating, providing reliable circuit protection with high conductivity and maximum current transfer at the fuse connection point. Compatible with all standard MIDI fuse holders used in car audio and automotive power installations.
Product overview
MIDI fuses, also known as Mini ANL fuses, are a mid-format automotive fuse used for circuit protection in car audio amplifier power runs and automotive accessory wiring. The SPF5860 provides 60 amp rated protection in the MIDI format with Shoc-Krome chrome plating on the fuse contacts, reducing contact resistance to ensure maximum current transfer and minimise voltage drop and heat generation at the connection point. Three fuses are included in the pack, providing spares alongside the installed fuse.
Features and benefits
60 amp MIDI fuse rating: Provides 60 amp rated overcurrent protection for car audio amplifier power runs and automotive accessory circuits using MIDI fuse holders.
Shoc-Krome chrome plating: The Shoc-Krome chrome plating on the fuse contacts reduces contact resistance at the fuse terminal, ensuring maximum current transfer and minimising voltage drop and heat generation in automotive wiring applications.
MIDI Mini ANL fuse format: Standard MIDI fuse format compatible with all standard MIDI fuse holders. Not interchangeable with MAXI, ANL, or AGU fuse formats. Confirm your fuse holder accepts MIDI fuses before ordering.
Chrome finish: The chrome finish provides a clean, premium appearance consistent with the Stinger fuse range.
Pack of 3: Three fuses are included in the pack, providing spares for future use alongside the installed fuse.

Frequently asked questions
What is a MIDI fuse?
MIDI fuses, also referred to as Mini ANL fuses, are a mid-format automotive fuse used for circuit protection in car audio amplifier power runs and automotive accessory wiring. They use a different holder format from MAXI blade fuses, ANL fuses, and AGU glass tube fuses and are not interchangeable with those formats. Confirm your fuse holder accepts MIDI fuses before ordering.
How does the SPF5860 compare to other MIDI fuses in the Stinger range?
The SPF5860 is rated at 60 amps, sitting between the SPF5840 at 40 amps and the SPF58100 at 100 amps in the Stinger MIDI fuse range reviewed in this session. Select the amperage rating appropriate for the circuit being protected based on the current draw of the connected amplifier or accessory and the gauge of cable used in the installation.
Can I replace a blown fuse with a higher amperage rating?
No. Never install a fuse rated higher than specified for the circuit. An oversized fuse defeats overcurrent protection and the wiring or component may overheat before the fuse blows, creating a fire risk. If a fuse blows repeatedly, diagnose and correct the underlying fault rather than increasing the fuse rating.
How many fuses are included in this pack?
The SPF5860 contains three 60 amp MIDI fuses.
Is the SPF5860 compatible with all MIDI fuse holders?
The SPF5860 is a standard MIDI format fuse compatible with all standard MIDI fuse holders. Confirm your fuse holder accepts MIDI fuses before ordering.
