The Stinger IPUSBD6 is a dual USB 2.0 flush mount extension kit designed to remote-mount the USB inputs from an aftermarket infotainment system or head unit to a more accessible location in the vehicle. With a 6-foot (1.8m) harness, the USB sockets can be neatly positioned in a glovebox, dashboard, roof console, trim panel, or any other suitable location without loose cables floating around the centre console.
The kit includes a waterproof dust cap to protect the sockets when not in use and a locking ring to secure the flush mount panel. While designed primarily for vehicle installations, the IPUSBD6 works equally well in caravans, boats, and other fixed or semi-fixed applications.
