The ACX1317 steps up from the ACX1316 with a wider 4.8mm strap and a longer 200mm length, providing greater tensile strength and accommodating larger bundle diameters up to approximately 50mm to 55mm. The wider strap distributes holding force across a larger surface area, making it better suited to heavier harnesses and larger cable bundles where the 3.6mm strap would be undersized or prone to cutting into insulation under tension.
Nylon 66 provides higher tensile strength, heat resistance and dimensional stability than standard nylon 6. The UV resistant black construction makes these ties suited to outdoor, sun-exposed and underbonnet applications where standard cable ties would degrade and become brittle over time.
