Description
OEX ACX1832 6-Way Standard Blade Fuse Box 30A Per Circuit Male Spade Terminals Clear Clip-On Cover 2-Hole Flush Mount
The OEX ACX1832 is a 6-way standard blade automotive fuse box with male spade terminal connections, rated at 30A per circuit. Distinct from the pre-wired ACX1829 (6-way, 20A), the ACX1832 uses male spade terminals for direct wire termination, features a clear clip-on cover for fuse visibility without removing the cover, and a 2-hole flush mounting configuration for panel-mount installations. Supplied as a single unit. Covered by a one year warranty.
Product overview
The ACX1832 is the higher-current, non-pre-wired alternative to the ACX1829 in the OEX 6-way fuse box range. At 30A per circuit it suits higher-current loads including compressors, winches and lighting circuits that exceed the 20A limit of the pre-wired version. The male spade terminal connections allow custom wire sizes to be selected for each circuit rather than being constrained by the pre-wired gauge, giving the installer more flexibility in high-current or specialised applications.
The clear clip-on cover allows fuse status to be checked at a glance without removing the cover — useful for quick fault diagnosis in a busy caravan switchboard or marine panel. The 2-hole flush mount configuration allows the unit to be mounted cleanly to a panel surface with standard screws or bolts (not supplied). At 0.072kg, the ACX1832 is significantly lighter than the pre-wired ACX1829 (0.137kg), suited to compact and weight-sensitive installations.
Features and benefits
30A per circuit: Higher current capacity than the pre-wired ACX1829 (20A), suited to compressors, winches, lighting circuits and other higher-current loads.
Male spade terminal connections: Direct wire termination via spade connectors — not pre-wired — allows custom wire gauge selection for each circuit.
Clear clip-on cover: Allows visual inspection of fuse status without removing the cover for faster fault diagnosis.
2-hole flush mount: Two mounting holes for a clean, secure flush-panel installation. Standard screws or bolts required (not supplied).
6-way: Supports up to six independent fused circuits from a single mounting point.
Standard blade ATC/ATO fuse format: Compatible with widely available standard blade fuses.
Lightweight at 0.072kg: Significantly lighter than the pre-wired ACX1829 (0.137kg), suited to compact and weight-sensitive installations.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between the ACX1832 and the ACX1829? Both are 6-way standard blade fuse boxes. The ACX1832 is rated at 30A per circuit with male spade terminal connections and a clear clip-on cover. The ACX1829 is rated at 20A, is pre-wired and has a clip-on cover with fuse identification markings. Select the ACX1832 for higher-current circuits or where custom wire gauge selection is required.
Is this fuse box pre-wired? No. The ACX1832 uses male spade terminal connections for direct wire termination, allowing custom wire sizes to be used for each circuit.
What does the clear cover allow? The clear clip-on cover allows visual inspection of fuse status without removing the cover, useful for quick fault diagnosis in panel-mount installations.
What mounting hardware is required? The ACX1832 uses a 2-hole flush mount configuration. Standard screws or bolts suited to the mounting surface are required and are not supplied with the unit.
What fuse type does this box accept? Standard blade ATC/ATO fuses the most widely available automotive fuse format. Select the appropriate amp rating for each circuit up to the 30A maximum per position.
