The OEX ACX2760C is a weatherproof cover designed to suit the Anderson 50A plug connector in SB50 format. When the Anderson plug is not connected such as when a trailer is unhitched or a solar panel lead is stored this cover protects the open connector face from moisture, dust and debris, preventing corrosion on the silver plated contacts and maintaining reliable connection quality over time. Supplied as a single unit. Covered by a one year warranty.

Anderson plug contacts are silver plated copper, which can corrode and degrade connection quality over time if the open connector face is exposed to moisture, dust and road debris during storage or transport. The ACX2760C slips over the open face of an unconnected SB50 connector to keep the contacts clean and protected between uses whether a trailer is parked between trips, a portable battery is stored in the shed, or a vehicle is parked for an extended period.
Compatible with the standard Anderson SB50 (50A) format including the OEX ACX2760 and ACX2760B connector packs. Not suitable for other Anderson sizes such as the SB120 or SB175. The cover is sold separately and is not included with either connector pack. Each cover protects one connector end a complete disconnected connector pair requires two covers, one for each end.
